“We turn, not older with years, but newer every day.”
[Emily Dickinson]

Perspective is an important life force. How we view ourselves and our situations frames our portrait, the work of art that is unique to each of us.
In her book The Gift of Years, Joan Chittister writes this passage for us to consider…
“As for old age, Seneca said, embrace and love it. It abounds with pleasure if you know how to use it. The gradually declining years are among the sweetest in life…. Even when they have reached the extreme limit they have their pleasure still.”

Today I ask that we would be blessed with vision that allows each day to grant us more of the generosities of life.
