“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”

[Mark Twain]

I love this analogy. We are never too old, never too early, never too late. “Vulnerability is not weakness” Brene Brown tells us in Daring Greatly, “and the uncertainty, risk, and emotional exposure we face every day are not optional. Our only choice is a question of engagement. Our willingness to own and engage with our vulnerability determines the depth of our courage and the clarity of our purpose; the level to which we protect ourselves from being vulnerable is a measure of our fear and disconnection.”

May we all embrace a sense of purpose today and be blessed with courage to engage in the dreams and discoveries within our lifetimes.
