“The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves.”

[C. G. Jung]

I am thinking of the kitten that finds unlimited magic within the smallest item it encounters. The feather. The dangling string. The firefly. Until it starts to play he doesn’t know how endless it is.

“The position of the artist is humble,” writes Piet Mondrian. “He is essentially a channel.”

Life blesses us with instinct to allow the flow of creative energy.
