Let us free our minds. Let’s not pray long drawn-out prayers, but let’s pray short ones full of love.”
Prayer is a conversation. I kept an index card with the following note on it in the pocket of my scrubs all my years of nursing. I don’t know who wrote it, but I would recite it over and over. Sometimes I just held onto it.
“Don’t worry about anything. Instead pray about everything.
Tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for His answers.
If you do this you will experience God’s peace which is far greater than the human mind can comprehend.”
