“In a sense sickness is a place more instructive than a long trip to Europe, and it’s always a place where there is no company, where nobody can follow.”
Sometimes illness is mislabeled as weakness, as if some character flaw allowed a passageway for malady. In times of illness however, I do discover an opening of my mind~body~spirit. As I rest and recover, I am able to rebalance with the flow of universal life around me, and reconnect in alignment with my Higher Self.
“Healing means to make whole,” writes Louise Hay in her book Heart Thoughts, “ to accept all parts of ourselves, not just the parts we like, but all of us.”
May we be blessed to align with our Higher Self in loving the whole of who we are.
