“Gloom we have always with us, a rank and sturdy weed, but joy requires tending.”
[Barbara Holland}

We each create our soul garden. It is filled with all the experiences and remembrances of our lives, and as we grow it does require consciousness.
“A garden requires patient labor and attention” writes Liberty Hyde Bailey. “Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them.”

May our efforts be blessed as we choose to cultivate the joys in our lives.
