“Creative minds have always been known to survive any kind of bad training”
[Anna Freud]
I smile every time I read this quote. Anna was of course, the daughter of Sigmund. I believe it may not have been as much to do with ‘bad’ training as her own unstoppable desire to find herself, that “ME” that is ours to make and own.
In Heart Thoughts, Louise Hay writes about the unique self. “You are not your father. You are not your mother. You are not any of your relatives……. You are yourself. You are special and unique, having your own set of talents and abilities. No one can do things exactly the way you can do them. There is no competition and no comparison. You are worthy of your own love and your own self-acceptance. You are a magnificent being! You are free. Acknowledge this as the new truth for yourself. And so it is.”
I celebrate my life and the lives of all those I commune with.
I ask that we would all be blessed today with the JOY of being and give thanks for our unique gifts to share.
Love to you!
