“We are not human beings trying to be spiritual. We are spiritual beings trying to be human.”
[Jacquelyn Small]

Ah, no wonder there are disconnects! I am a round peg fitting in a square hole.
Mary Oliver, the renowned poet describes a state of peaceful being in her work entitled When I am Among the Trees
“….. I am so distant from the hope of myself,
in which I have goodness, and discernment,
and never hurry through the world
but walk slowly and bow often…..
And they call again, ‘It’s simple,’ they say,
and you too have come
into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled
with light and to shine.”

Today is a day of thankfulness.
Blessed are they who walk slowly, filling themselves with Divine Light.
