When I read this quote, it evokes several types of emotions in me, from the tongue in cheek smile to the sadness I feel when I contemplate the reclusive Emily, knowing that her truth, her work, was not published until after her death. Still she wrote it.
To be truthful also means to live in your truth. To know ourselves and be in touch with that which is our core being.
To accept ourselves, giving recognition to our strengths and talents. To honor ourselves and the Light from within creating our unique whole.
As in the words of Jesus, “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”
May we all be blessed today to recognize our worth, and honor that which is apparent, and that which, by the Grace of God, shall be revealed.
