“The Earth is my Mother, she takes care of me. The Earth is my Mother, I take care of her.”
[Native American Gardening chant]
When I am in my gardens I am one with the Earth; I can breathe it in and I breathe out harmony and love. Any time we are in nature, Mother Earth is speaking to us. Her messages to me are in the life of the soil as I hold it in my hands.
Kent Nerburn in Voices of The Stones describes it this way. “It was not conscious of itself; it was conscious in itself. It was alive with the presence of being.”
Today I ask that we would all be blessed to receive the gifts of the Earth and to return them expanded by our love and light to continue to flourish.
