“Perfectionism is the voice of the oppressor, enemy of the people. It will keep you cramped and insane your whole life.”

[Anne Lamott]

I have strived to accomplish things in my life that I thought worthwhile. Some of them were. In retrospect however, I find that my expectations of what had to get done, were not always about the task at hand.

In her book Simple Abundance, Sarah Ban Breathnach gives insight to this paragon in writing… “The road to hell is paved by perfectionists working with grains of sand. Uh – oh, missed a spot.”

Life blesses us with learnings. To grow, experience and expand anew.
