It mistakenly seems safe to retreat when faced with daunting adversity, thinking the isolation from situations is a fortress protecting your emotions. Instead it only brings other obstacles, some far more difficult and internally far reaching.
Anne Sullivan is quoted as saying “People seldom see the halting and painful steps by which the most insignificant success is achieved.”
Yet, success is achieved.
Today, by the Grace of God, I ask that we would be blessed with the courage to reach and dare to be whole.
