Weather: hurricanes, nor’easters, and blizzards tend to level me, not to the ground, but to the basic things truly important in life. I know I have no greater resources than trust, faith and prayer.
In The Breath of the Soul, Joan Chittister eloquently describes having enough. “Remember to whom you are indebted. If you never know need, you will come to know neither who God is nor who yourself are….It is need that shows us how little it takes to be happy.”
