June 9:
“I did not lose myself all at once. I rubbed out my face over the years washing away my pain, the same way carvings on stone are worn down by water.”
[Amy Tan]

I often walk on the beach and the breakwater, boulders so smooth they are not recognizable as such. I wonder over and over, how does water wear down rock?
We transition with change, in time, as inevitable as the waves washing over rocks.
“Whatever you receive, wherever it comes from” Swami Chidvilasananda writes, “cherish the desire to give it back in full measure.”

We are blessed with change and transition, to become the smoother surfaces and formations that can restructure our lives.
