At certain times in our lives I am sure we have all experienced God’s interventions. The unexplained wake-up call. The outreached hand in the darkness. The life boat when we knew we were drowning.
Jonathan Swift, poet and author of Gulliver’s Travels, tells us that “A wise man is never less alone than when he is alone.” I think Gulliver knew that.
