“Courage is as often the outcome of despair as hope; in the one case we have nothing to lose, in the other, all to gain.”
[Diane de Poitiers]

I think we are not sure what courage is until we need it; the energy that comes forth allowing us to face danger and difficulty without retreating.
“One of the most frightening things in the world is to trust our intuition, and follow that trusting,” Anne Wilson Schaef writes in Meditations for Women Who Do Too Much. “It is hard for us to believe what the Quakers call our ‘Inner Light’ is really the way our power greater than ourselves speaks most clearly to us.”

When I find my spirit, the strength of trust flows through me.
Today I ask that we would all be blessed to find our ‘Inner Light’ allowing it to shine brightly in all we do.
