“Autumn to winter, winter to spring,
Spring to summer, summer into fall –
So rolls the changing year, and so we change;
Motion so swift, we know not that we move.”
[Dinah Mulock Craik]

Looking back we can all feel at times, “where did the time go?” Years pass marked by seasons. I want to savor all of it.
“A bountiful life mixes continuity and change” Julia Cameron writes in Transitions. “We rest secure in our past while we add in the elements of our future. Sometimes change sweeps in on us from outside but more often we set change in motion through our own gardening hand.”

I ask today that we would all be blessed to cultivate and nurture our growth, allowing the seasons of rest, rebirth, bloom and harvest to guide our efforts.
