“At times she called it baggage, dragging its heavy weight along.
Other times she called it fuel, using it to push her forward.
Now she called it history in her veins and just accepted it as part of her life flow.”

What a beautiful and freeing way of describing the pain one feels and then releases.
It is as in all things, a process.
“People seldom see the halting and painful steps by which the most insignificant success is achieved” Anne Sullivan wrote in teaching Helen Keller.”Still, these steps bring forward the gifts of life.”

Today I ask that we all rejoice in our abilities to process, and be blessed to release all that no longer serves us.
